Chad Rummel, SPSP’s Executive Director, has been selected as one of 12 scholars for ASAE’s 2017–2019 Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP) class. DELP is a two-year program that supports individuals from under-represented identity groups to advance into the ranks of leadership in the association management profession. DELP scholars participate in an accelerated leadership program of education, mentoring, and volunteer service in the association community.
“DELP is a fantastic program that provides professionals an opportunity to enrich their knowledge and leadership skills,” said ASAE President and CEO John H. Graham IV, FASAE, CAE.
Hundreds of applicants were considered for the program, and the SPSP Board supported Rummel’s nomination for the program, both for his own growth and to learn about diversity measures that may be implemented for SPSP.
“I am thrilled that Chad was selected to participate in DELP. The SPSP Board has long admired Chad for his intelligence, strategic thinking, and management abilities,” said SPSP President Diane Mackie. “We look forward to the impact that participating in this prestigious program will have for Chad and for our organization, our leadership, and all our members.”
