Social psychologists are working to improve food marketing to children. In a new report, to be presented at this week's meeting of the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues, Jennifer Harris of Yale University will share findings about improvements in nutritional quality for 13 of 16 child-targeted cereal brands. She is one of several SPSP members who will participate in briefings at this week's meeting in Charlotte, NC, about everything from racial profiling (Rob Foels) and attitudes toward immigration (Todd Lucas) to veteran mental health (Elizabeth Bennett).
