Invited Sessions at #SPSP2016

2016 SPSP President Wendy Wood will be hosting a discussion  "Policy, Social Psychology, and You," answering questions like, "Are policy jobs out there for me?" to "How can we improve the world by developing science-based policy?"

Expect SPSP 2016 invited sessions exploring the powerful lens big data provides to understanding human behavior, and the incorporation of cultural evolutionary processes in models of genetic evolution.

Dr. Walter Mischel Named SPSP Legacy Honoree

SPSP is pleased to announce Walter Mischel as the 2016 SPSP Convention Legacy honoree. Mischel is the recipient of the first Legacy  recognition, which is designed to honor luminary figures in social and personality psychology. Mischel has been a leading voice in psychological science since the beginning of his long career. His work on personality and situations as causes of human behavior has been sometimes controversial--and always innovative.
