The SPSP Student Committee has created a skills checklist to help graduate students become more competitive for jobs in academia. The video below explains why there is a need for this checklist, and introduces the tool. The checklist below includes skills, an assessment of your current level of proficiency with each skill, an assessment of the extent to which developing each skill is a priority, and an identification of sources of support to help in developing each skill.
