Cooper Elected President of SPSP Lynne Cooper elected to serve as president of the world’s largest society of social and personality psychology researchers WASHINGTON, DC—Lynne Cooper, Curators’ Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri, has been elected the 2018 president of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP). Cooper will serve as SPSP’s president‐elect in 2017 and past president in 2019.

The day before our Annual Convention begins each year marks an important day of networking, learning, and discussion on various subcategories of our field. These intensive, topic specific preconferences are one of the highlights of the convention experience each year. Preconference content is chosen and organized by our members and this programming comes to life with the logistical support of the SPSP Central Office staff. We’re now accepting applications for preconferences. Each year as more topics emerge and more attendees are interested in attending, space becomes more and more limited. Due to space limitations not all applications are guaranteed acceptance.
