Student Mentor Lunch
Friday January 20 – 12:15 – 1:30 PM & Saturday January 21 – 12:15 – 1:30 PM
Do you want to meet an expert in the field for some friendly advice and insight? The mentoring lunch offers graduate students an informal opportunity to discuss their research interests and career development with an established professional in the field. As in previous years, the mentoring lunch will be held during the lunchtime session on both Friday and Saturday, providing approximately 400 students an opportunity to meet an expert to discuss a variety of topics in psychology. Available to all student attendees.
GASP Mentor Lunch
Friday January 20 – 12:15 – 1:30 PM
Co-sponsored by the SPSP Diversity and Climate Committee, this event features volunteer faculty mentors hosting small group discussions of research and professional issues, including LGBT issues in the academic job market, positioning LGBT research for publication, obtaining funding for research on sexual-minority populations, and other diversity and professional development topics. Available to all attendees.
Early Career Mentoring Happy Hour

What do you get when you combine a little information, a lot of experience and a dash of fun? Early Career Happy Hour! Come connect with fellow early career members and talk with mentors during a happy hour session at the SPSP convention. Available to all Early Career attendees.
