Get ready for Long Beach! The program of the 2015 SPSP Annual Convention is now online. You can find information about all of the exciting symposia, special sessions, and posters at www.spspmeeting.org.
This year’s program includes the wide range of research topics that you’ve come to expect from SPSP conventions, including everything from morality and relationships to life transitions and social identity. The talks will feature research drawing from a panoply of methods, designs, and populations – a true cross-section of social and personality research. As usual, there was a good deal of competition for symposium slots. This year about 39% of submitted symposia were accepted. We are also excited to feature two data blitzes and several special sessions throughout the program, including Mark Leary’s presidential symposium kicking off the convention on Thursday evening.
Other special events include the mentoring luncheons, morning and lunch sessions with practical advice including insights on the publication process and funding opportunities, and the Block, Campbell, and Distinguished Scholar Award lectures. And of course don’t forget the pre-conferences, the poster session receptions, and the sunny, sandy beaches of Southern California. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
