Social and personality psychological research has become significantly more complex in theory, methodology, and statistics over time. To help ensure that the training of graduate students sustains advances and innovations in these fields, for the past decade SPSP has offered a highly successful program of Summer Institute in Social and Personality Psychology. Graduate students from social psychology and personality psychology graduate programs attend the advanced two-week intensive training program, led by the best scholars in the field.

Database Temporarily Offline Friends, In order to better serve you, we will be upgrading our database this week to a more robust system. This will allow us to capture more accurate data to better serve our membership. This is a process that will take about two years to fully integrate, and in the end accomplishes several goals: 1)      Integrates and streamlines the various technology platforms used by SPSP

Cooper Elected President of SPSP   Lynne Cooper elected to serve as president of the world’s largest society of social and personality psychology researchers WASHINGTON, DC—Lynne Cooper, Curators’ Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri, has been elected the 2018 president of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP). Cooper will serve as SPSP’s president‐elect in 2017 and past president in 2019.
