Postdoctoral
Research Scientist Position at Michigan State University
The Department of
Psychology at Michigan State University invites applications for a
postdoctoral research scientist position in the area of subjective
well-being, with an emphasis on measurement and life span
development. The candidate must have earned a PhD in a relevant
social science discipline by the time of appointment. The ideal
candidate will have expertise in longitudinal modeling and
psychometrics. This candidate must also have substantive interests in
well-being, adult personality development, or a closely related area.
The primary responsibilities of the position will include
collaborating with faculty and supervising research assistants in an
ongoing project examining the psychometric properties of experiential
and evaluative measures of well-being. This is a 12-month position
that is renewable for up to three years (with a preference for at
least a two-year commitment). The targeted starting data is summer of
2013.
