Dear colleagues,
We are currently conducting a meta-analysis examining the prevalence and strength of regrets of action vs. inaction (subtractive and additive counterfactuals). We are interested in any study which either:
-Measures the relative frequency with which individuals generate counterfactual thoughts and/or regrets identifying actions vs. actions
-Measures the relative strength (e.g.,importance, relevance, emotional intensity) of counterfactual thoughts and/or regrets of actions vs. inactions
We are hoping for help in identifying data relevant to this meta-analysis, particularly dissertations or unpublished data. If you have any studies that include a comparison between regrets of action and inaction (or between additive or subtractive counterfactuals), we would greatly appreciate it if you could send information to us at summervillelab[at]gmail.com
Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,
Amy Summerville
