Dear Colleagues:
The International Society for Self and Identity (ISSI) is
seeking nominations for its 2013 Outstanding Early Career Award.
This award is made annually to recognize and encourage a
distinguished junior scientist who has made outstanding theoretical and
empirical contributions to the scientific study of self and identity.
The award will be made on the basis of originality, quality, and impact of
scientific research in the area of self and identity. Please go to our web site

The
award winner will be invited to present a distinguished address at the
2014 SPSP Self and Identity Pre-Conference. Please help us get this
information to a wide audience of talented scientists for this year's
competition.
Eligibility: Nominees should have completed their PhD no earlier than
January 2003.
Nominations should include a letter of nomination addressing the
nature and impact of the nominee's contribution to the scientific study of
self and identity, a copy of the nominee's CV, and no more than 3 pdfs of
her/his work selected for their relevance to the award. Please
send nominating materials electronically. Nominations are due by *May 1,
2013.*
The selection committee (Richard Ryan, Serena Chen, and Nathan DeWall) will
make its recommendation to the ISSI Executive Committee andthe winner
will be announced by early June, 2013.
