Subject: National Survey of Graduate Student Stipends and Benefits

Dear SPSP members,

I'm a doctoral student in Psychology at the University of Michigan, and I'm running a survey of graduate student stipends and benefits.

I'm hoping you might be interested in taking the survey, forwarding it to colleagues, and/or checking out the results. As you probably already know, salaries and responsibilities can vary widely between departments and institutions. The idea behind this survey is to figure out how well grad students are treated overall, and which programs treat their students best. For folks who are familiar with the Adjunct

Project, this is basically the same idea for grad students.

The survey takes about five minutes to complete. Current PhD/Master's students in any academic department as well as recent graduates are eligible. Please take a moment and check it out here: [ http://gradpay.herokuapp.com ]. Results are also available in real time on the site. And feel free to contact me with comments, complaints, bug reports, etc.!

Thanks,

**

I received an error message for not choosing one of the schools in the pre-selected list. Is it limited to American institutions?

Also, since salary is rather personal, I thought it's a bit weird that the field for personal email address is a mandatory entry.
