Dear SPSP Members, Registration is now open for the 25th annual meeting of the Human Behavior and Evolution Society, which will be held July 17-20, 2013 in Miami Beach, FL, at the Loews Hotel.

We have a very exciting line-up of plenary speakers this year, including Doug Kenrick, Napoleon Chagnon, Melvin Konner, Brad Duchaine, Renee Baillergeon, Peter Gray, and Redouan Bshary.

On the final evening of the conference, Leda Cosmides and John Tooby will give the Keynote Address, with a Special Introduction by Steven Pinker.

The abstract submission deadline has been extended to March 15! Please visit the conference website to submit abstracts for posters, talks, and symposia:

The deadline for all papers for the New Investigator Competition and the Post-Doctoral Competition has also been extended to March 15. Please see the website for more information. 

Early registration ends  May 19. We have reserved a block of rooms at the Loews Hotel, the venue of this year's conference. Please use the link to the hotel website listed on the HBES website to take advantage of the negotiated group rate:
