Subject: Survey on disability courses in psychology

We are researchers at Brandeis University and Oregon State University, and we a conducting a study on the way disability topics are incorporated into undergraduate psychology curricula. We define disability somewhat broadly as the result of social confines that restrict an individual with a physical or mental impairment. We ask any faculty member or instructor who teaches at the college level to consider participating in our 10 minute survey, whether or not you teach a course related to disability. We will also ask if you have any comments or suggestions about incorporating disability topics into curricula. If there are other people at your institution who would be well suited to complete the survey, please forward this to them.

During the survey, we will ask some specific questions about psychology major requirements, course structure, content, and frequency. You may find it useful to have your course catalog and/or curriculum history available. We will also ask if you have any comments or suggestions about incorporating disability topics into curricula. http://oregonstate.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_5hCRVsB09W91gGx
