Dear Colleagues,
We are collecting studies for a meta-analysis on the effects of stereotype threat/ identity threat on the intellectual performance of different groups of immigrants. To compile as complete a dataset as possible, we would appreciate your assistance in gathering (as yet) unpublished papers and data sets (including dissertations, conference proceedings, book chapters not listed on electronic databases, or work in progress). The studies should make use of an experimental design comparing a threat condition to a control or nullification condition, provide a measure of cognitive performance as dependent variable, and include at least one group of immigrants that is faced with a negative stereotype or that is otherwise devalued.
If you have such work (unpublished or in press), we would very much appreciate if you could send us a copy. If it is not formally written up, please let us know anyway.
