Dear Colleagues,

This is a reminder that submissions for the APA conference in in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 31 – August 4, 2013 are due soon.  I was just notified by APA that the deadline for submissions has been extended to Tuesday, November 20th by midnight EST to accommodate those affected by Hurricane Sandy.   

Proposals for Division 8 can include posters or symposia (our division does not accept individual paper proposals – individual talks must be part of a submitted symposium).  Submissions can be made online by midnight EST on November 20, 2012 at http://www.apa.org/convention/proposals.aspx.  Full details about the procedures for submitting proposals can be found at http://www.apa.org/convention/call-for-programs.pdf.  APA non-members may submit proposals if at least one co-author is a member of APA or if an APA member sponsors the proposal.  Becoming an APA member can take a couple of weeks, so please plan accordingly.
