Subject: Genderf*kation:
I am one of the producers of a new documentary, Genderf*kation: A Gender Emancipation.  Our website is www.genderfukation.com and contains our press kit and trailer for the film.
A promo introducing the supporting cast can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EW2gy6pEjT8  A synopsis of the film is enclosed below.

Genderf*kation: A Gender Emancipation is an excellent educational tool.  The film will help the audience better understand the often overlooked trans and queer population within the GLBTQ community.

The film is available for special screenings at this time.  A screening fee of $350 per screening of the film (which is negotiable)  will help defray the costs of producing this grass roots documentary.

Screenings can be arranged by contacting me, Donovan Harmel, at donhmpls@gmail.com, through our website, www.genderfukation.com or the facebook page 'Genderf*kation!'

Genderf*kation: A Gender Emancipation

Our mission is to inform, educate, and dialogue with audiences and allies who may invest themselves in the pursuit of equal justice and respect for individuals and groups of non-conforming gender/sexual identities.

Story Synopsis

"Genderf*kation: A Gender Emancipation,” is the story of six individuals and their journey through the social, religious and political landscapes of a society that struggles to understand or allows for gender variations.
This documentary includes provocative interviews with professionals and outreach members who are active in this community to help shed light on a very unfamiliar subject.
This film breaks through the gender stereotypes and historical gender ideologies to liberate our bodies, minds and spirits from our own social Gender Dysphoria.
Although "Genderf*kation: A Gender Emancipation” is based in Minnesota, the subject matter has no borders.
It explores real life concepts, issues, and reactions to individuals who self identify and/or fall outside of traditional gender and sexual identities.

We focus on gender identity, aiming to present the life experiences of Trans, Queer, and Gender variant individuals and their respective connections to and disconnects from societal, religious and political institutions and personal relationships.

The subject of gender is a taboo topic in many societies, yet fundamental to every aspect of all of our lives.  Forget everything you think you know about gender and experience a GENDERF*KATION!

In addition to the six main individuals in the film, we have a distinguished line of professionals adding their insights on gender.  A few of the professionals involved are Walter Bockting, PhD, President of WPATH; Julie Tilsen, MA, LP, PHD, Training Coordinator for the International Center for Clinical Excellence; and Kate Bornstein, author/activist, Gender Outlaws: The Next Genderation.
Genderf*kation: A Gender Emancipation, directed by Chris Durant, is currently available for special screenings.  Please contact me if you would like to see a screener copy of the film.

Thank You,
Donovan Harmel, Genderf*kation: A Gender Emancipation
