Subject: Last Reminder: Teaching Introduction to Psychology and chance to win gift c

If you do not teach Introduction to Psychology/General Psychology please disregard this request and I apologize for any cross-listing.

Last semester, I sent out an initial request for this project. I just wanted to remind folks that there is still time to participate. The last day for participation will be February 20th and winners of gift cards will be notified by February 24th.

Project Overview: As an instructor of Introduction to Psychology/General Psychology, I frequently have students asking questions regarding the material that I do not feel confident to answer because the question is outside my area of expertise or the material is not sufficiently covered in my textbook. Unfortunately, I often lack adequate time to thoroughly review relevant literature and answer the question in a later class period. If you have had similar experiences, you may be interested in a research project (approved by the University of Wyoming IRB) that I will be conducting this year.

To assist instructors of Introduction to Psychology/General Psychology, I am compiling a list of frequently asked student questions. After I identify a list of frequently asked student questions, I will develop brief literature reviews to answer these questions (answers will be edited by experts in the area), and eventually this resource will be made available to teachers.

If you would like to help in this endeavor, please go to the following link https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LNT533M and complete the short survey (16 questions). You can also enter into a drawing for one of three gift cards (one $100 and two $50) to an online store (e.g., Amazon.com, itunes).

Thank you for your time, and please contact me if you have any questions.
