Subject: Assistant Professor Position at Columbia University
The Department of Psychology at Columbia University anticipates hiring (to begin JULY 1, 2013) at the assistant professor level, Ph.D required. We seek applications from individuals with specializations in areas of Psychology that complement our current areas of expertise in the study of human social behavior, cognition and emotion/motivation. Examples of research areas of special interest include social cognition, intergroup relations, health/stress, decision-making, memory and high-level cognition. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated record of research productivity and teaching commensurate to the level of the faculty position. Individuals with multi-method expertise, ranging from behavioral methods to fMRI, lesion/patient studies, psychophysiology, genetics, etc. are of particular interest.
