 SPSP Email List

The Society for Personality and Social Psychology maintains a listserv to facilitate communication among its members.

The listserv contains three "flavors":

  • SPSP Bulletin: This variant passes along information about Society business from the executive office, such as dues payment deadlines, conference information, as well as some other pieces of news.

  • SPSP Announce. This flavor of the listserv passes along information about job ads, conference announcements, and funding opportunities.

  • SPSP Discuss. This flavor of the listserv contains discussions, debates, requests for information, as well as a few announcements (e.g., new books that have been published). This is the free-ranging discussion forum.

SPSP members are automatically subscribed to Bulletin. If you are a member of SPSP and wish to subscribe or unsubscribe to Announce, Discuss, or both, please email your request and membership status to

Individuals not on the listserv can send requests to post messages on the listserv by using the email address above, particularly if they want to pass along information about job ads, funding opportunities, and conference announcements.

Public archives of email content for the listserv (2008 and after) can be found at:

http://groups.google.com/group/spsp-bulletin
http://groups.google.com/group/spsp-announce
http://groups.google.com/group/spsp-discuss

If any individual, member or nonmember, wishes to keep up with the latest messages on any flavor of the listserv, they can opt for an RSS feed of recent emails. Click on the "xml" button in any archive to see your options.

SPSP email content pre-2008 is temporarily unavailable. Please check back soon for a link to the pre-2008 archives.
