New PSPB Editors Selected

On behalf of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, we are extremely pleased to announce the incoming senior editorial team for our society’s flagship empirical journal—the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin.  Christian Crandall, the incoming Editor, will be joined by Co-Editors Colin Wayne Leach, Michael D. Robinson, and Tessa West.  They will begin processing manuscripts on January 1, 2017, with their term ending December 31, 2020.  Until then, the current team, led by Editor Duane Wegener and Co-Editor Lee Fabrigar, will continue doing their outstanding work.

Colin Wayne Leach (Ph.D. 1995, University of Michigan) is Professor of Psychology at University of Connecticut.  His multi-national, multi-method research examines status and morality in self-evaluation, emotion, and motivation. Colin has been associate editor of the European Journal of Social Psychology, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, and Journal of Personality and Social Psychology: Interpersonal Relations and Group Processes.

Michael D. Robinson (Ph.D. 1996, University of California, Davis) is Professor of Psychology at North Dakota State University.  His research spans the domains of personality, cognition, emotion, self-regulation, and social behavior. Michael has been an associate editor at a number of journals including Emotion, Journal of Personality, and Journal of Personality and Social Psychology: Personality Processes and Individual Differences.

Tessa West (Ph.D. 2008, University of Connecticut) is Associate Professor of Psychology at New York University. Her research examines dyadic and group interactions, particularly between individuals from different racial and ethnic groups. Tessa has been an Associate Editor for Social Psychology & Personality Science, and is currently a Statistical Advisor for Psychological Science.
