The SPSP Diversity Fund is devoted to the enhancement of diversity in personality and social psychology. With funds from this program, qualified graduate students from underrepresented groups can receive travel grants to attend the annual SPSP conference.Those eligible include ethnic or racial minority students; first-generation college students; lesbian, gay, or bisexual students; transgendered students; and/or students with a physical disability.
Since these awards were first made in 2001, SPSP has disbursed more than $100,000 in travel grants and conference stipends to 153 graduate students (out of a total field of 767 applicants). Biographical information, by year, is available by links below.
